Berlin Space Consortium (BSC) collaborates with the following organizations:

Space Industry

The Group of Astrodynamics for the Use of Space Systems Srl (GAUSS) is an Italian space company based in Rome. It was founded as a spin-off of the Scuola di Ingegneria Aerospaziale of Sapienza University of Rome. BSC has been collaborating with GAUSS for more than two years. The two companies have joined forces in the design, manufacturing and testing of solid propulsion for small and medium-size satellite launchers.

Lunar Resources Registry (LRR) is a German based company that has its focus on registering Lunar Resources for terrestrial industries, mining, energy, and infrastructure. LRR provides a clear and transparent resources registration and space legal framework that serves as a cornerstone for commercial exploration and extraction operations. BSC and LRR have agreed to collaborate on the design, manufacturing, launch, and operation of lunar landing vehicles.

QSTC Inc. is a Canadian space engineering company that integrates an innovative proprietary portfolio of satellite technologies and disruptive business solutions to support the domestic and international market through telecommunications, IoT, data science, and additive manufacturing. BSC is one of QSTC's designated partners to provide customized electric propulsion systems for its ambitious LEO, MEO and GEO satellite missions.

Space Agencies

The German Space Agency at DLR coordinates German space activities at national and European levels and represents German space interests worldwide on behalf of the Federal Government. Its tasks include the planning and implementation of the national space programme and the management of Germany’s contributions to the European Space Agency (ESA). The German Space Agency at DLR is the main point of contact for BSC regarding national funding of its innovative R&D topics. Besides, BSC collaborates with several DLR institutes for the purpose of space qualifying its space products and technologies.

The European Space Agency (ESA) is an intergovernmental organization of 22 member states dedicated to the exploration of space. ESA's space flight programme includes human spaceflight; the launch and operation of unmanned exploration missions; Earth observation, science and telecommunication; designing launch vehicles; and maintaining a spaceport, the Guiana Space Centre at Kourou, French Guiana. BSC supplies customized subsystems and services for multiple ESA-funded missions. Moreover, the BSC team has participated in several ESA-funded and ESA-coordinated R&D activities.

The Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin) is the main technical university of the German capital Berlin, with over 100 study programs and roughly 35,000 students. It has a long and rich tradition and is recognized globally as an excellent research university. It also hosts the Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (ILR), which is still the primary source of graduates and students working at BSC on selected commercial projects or innovative R&D topics.
